Electroscope - a simple indicator device for determining electric charge. It is very easy to make at home with your own hands. To do this we need a piece of foil and a jar with a plastic lid.

For better stability, a cocktail straw and a plastic ball are wrapped inside the foil.

Please note that for weight, there are small twists at the ends of the diverging plates; they can be used to adjust the sensitivity of our electroscope.

It is in short a "device" that detects electrical charges. There is no current here for determining the magnitude of the discharge.
When you bring any charged body (+ or - does not matter), this charge is transferred along the “rod” and these 2 plates receive it. Having been charged with the same charge, they repel, showing that they are charged and there is a charge)) It turned out like oil biggrin

We want to assemble such a device, only with a scale, but what’s the best way to make it? Thank you

Here I am done. But how do you know if this invention works? I need downtime for a physics lesson.
