To make spring envelopes we take:
- Light green cardboard, two A4 sheets;
- Paper for scrapbooking in light green and light green colors;
- Pictures with inscriptions, cages, birds, various spring cuts;
- Cutting: openwork heart, openwork napkin, leaves, inscription “With all my heart,” butterflies, openwork flower;
- Cardboard floral die cut;
- Printed inscription about spring;
- Mint pearl half beads;
- Decorative twigs;
- Organza ribbon in tiffany color;
- Ribbon chiffon roses mint color;
- Stamens in complex bouquets are yellow and white;
- Salad paper roses;
- Wooden inscription chipboards “Dream” and “Happy Birthday”;
- Paper hydrangea is yellowish in color;
- The ribbon is white with small bobbles;
- Curb hole punch;
- Ruler, double-sided tape, scissors, pencil, glue stick.
In this master class we will make two types of envelopes: one in a horizontal standard form, like a simple envelope, and the second type of envelope will be vertical, like a postcard with only a pocket. For a horizontal envelope, divide a sheet of cardboard into parts of 9.5 cm, 9.5 cm and 7 cm.
We draw bend lines and fold the base of the envelope along them.
Now we move on to the vertical envelope and divide it into three parts of 9.5 cm each.
We also draw creasing lines, and on the right side we make a cut from the corner. Laying out the base.
We cut strips of organza ribbon and glue them to the bases of the envelopes on the front and back.
Now we cut out three blanks for one envelope from one sheet of scrap paper.
From another sheet we cut out these quadrangles.
Inside one envelope, which is horizontal, we make an openwork edge with a hole punch. We glue the scrap blanks inside the envelopes and on the back. We glue it with double-sided tape.
We have two rectangles left, we will decorate them for the spring mood. We glue cuttings, pictures, inscriptions. We stitch with a machine. Now we glue these scrap rectangles to the bases and sew our envelopes on a typewriter.
We collect bouquets from stamens, knit bows from ribbons and decorate our envelopes, as we see in the photo. We glue the inscriptions from the chipboard using a glue stick. It is best to glue all other decorative elements with a heat gun.
