Happy Valentine's Day is congratulated not only by young lovers, but also by the children of their parents and grandparents. Therefore, the children and I decided to make our beloved grandmother a heart-shaped postcard with a child’s hand as a gift.
Necessary materials:
- Colored cardboard;
- Paper napkins;
- PVA glue;
- Pencil;
- Scissors.
From colored cardboard, choose one sheet of any color, but different from the color of paper napkins, otherwise they will blend together. We chose yellow cardboard and pink napkins.
On the reverse side of the cardboard, draw a heart of any size with a pencil. And we cut it out with scissors.
In the center of the cardboard heart, carefully outline a child’s palm with a pencil, as shown in the next photo.
My baby is only nine months old, so the palm is small and one paper napkin is enough to decorate it. We cut it with scissors into fragments of the same size. Next, squeezing the napkin fragments with your fingers, we make paper balls.
Lubricate the drawn child's hand on a cardboard heart with PVA glue.
Carefully but quickly, before the glue hardens, glue the pink paper balls.
We made such a cute Valentine’s card as a gift for grandma.
Older children can easily make such a Valentine card on their own.
By the way, you can also make a heart with a palm as a gift card for March 8th.
