Victory Day is widely celebrated today in Russia. On this great day, Russians proudly put on their St. George ribbon for their ancestors. This jewelry has become very popular, given the recent rise in patriotism. And of course, everyone wants to please themselves and others with a luxurious accessory on their chest on this significant day. In fact, making a brooch for the holiday on May 9 with your own hands will not be difficult. For work, we need:
- St. George Ribbon.
- Tricolor ribbon.
- Clay "Moment".
- Beads are brown and white.
- Clasp with a pin.
- Lighter.
So, let's start creating a brooch. First, mark the St. George ribbon on ribbons of this size:
1 ribbon (brooch base) - length 22 cm.
5 ribbons (petals) - length 7 cm.
First glue the long base tape together. Do not forget to process each tape along the edges with a lighter flame. Make the ends of the ribbon like a flag by cutting a small triangle.
Next, we proceed to the formation of the petals, which we will later combine into a star.
In order to make a leaflet, it is necessary to bend the tape in half perpendicularly.
Then bend again in half.
This is the back view of the petal.
Now again bend in half and bend the edges up. After that, we process the ends of the petal with glue. We glue. We do this with each of the five petals.
The time has come when you need to beautifully lay the leaves on the base tape and fix them with glue. Glue a beautiful bead on top or like a flat pebble in the photo. On the reverse side also with glue, glue the clasp with a pin.
That's all, the work on the brooch is over. I must say that there can be quite a lot of variations. For example, you can combine the colors of two ribbons of a tricolor and a St. George ribbon. Or so by adding the usual brown satin ribbons to the star.
Of course, you can simply tie the St. George ribbon on May 9 in the usual way, but undoubtedly, a brooch with your own hands is a much more beautiful, elegant accessory.
