So, to make a money tree you will need:
- fake banknotes of any denomination;
- foam ball of the desired diameter;
- old waste pen or chopstick for chinese food;
- threads
- alabaster;
- a small flower pot or any unnecessary capacity;
- glue or hot glue gun;
- foamiran or any fabric;
- sisal, half beads or coins
- decorative ribbon or any beautiful lace.
First you need to twist the tubes of money.
If small bills are used for a money tree, then you can make “kulechki” from them and fix them with glue.
They must be the same size. If large bills are taken to make a talisman, then they can initially be cut into smaller ones.
The number of “bags” depends on the diameter of the foam ball (in the manufacture of the tree in the photo, a ball with a diameter of about 7 cm and about 90 twisted “bags” was used).
In the foam ball we make a hole with the old handle, then we fix it in it with glue.
We got the base for a tree with a trunk.
We take a skein of thread and tightly wrap the handle, in some places we fix it with glue so that it does not unwind.
On a foam ball from above, we begin to stick twisted notes.
It is necessary to try to put "kulechki" as close to each other as possible so that there are no gaps.
After the whole ball is pasted, we breed alabaster.
We put the finished mixture into a flower pot or any unnecessary container (a cropped bottle of shower gel was used for the money tree in the photo), place the tree trunk there, fix it in the desired position and wait for it to completely solidify (you can swap actions as desired: first fill the barrel in the alabaster, and then stick on the foam ball bills).
After hardening the alabaster, you can decorate the pot in which the tree will stand. The alabaster from above can be laid with sisal, half beads, or, for example, covered with coins.
If a special flower pot was used to make a money tree, you can leave it as it is. In our case, the capacity needs to be hidden. To do this, cut a shred out of foamiran or any other fabric and glue a pot over it.
Then we drag it with a beautiful thread and decorate it with another bill.
