As a material, felt looks great in products, it is easy to sew from, it does not need processing, and the color palette in which it is sold allows you to fantasize and create completely amazing things. Especially often puppet food is sewn from felt - when ready-made, it looks like real food, which is why it delights children.
This mater class will help to make cheese. The manufacturing process is as simple as possible, even a person who is far from needlework can handle it.
You will need:
- yellow felt and thread in tone;
- synthetic winterizer or cotton;
- cardboard for patterns and scissors.

Any threads are suitable, although they mainly use floss. Ordinary threads can be doubled, thus increasing the thickness. A synthetic winterizer is better to take the thinnest so that the toy cheese does not look like a pillow.


First you need to draw a pattern - this will help the imagination. As a basis, take a rectangle measuring 5 * 7 cm, draw cheese holes in it and cut them out. Next, cut two parts from felt. Put them together, and lay a layer of syntepon between them. Sew the parts with an overcast seam. Treat internal holes in the same way. Fasten the thread and straighten the product.



Agree, nothing complicated, but your child will have an exclusive and interesting toy. A piece of bread, sausage, and other food products, for which felt is also suitable, can be added to cheese.
