As a pattern, I took a hand-drawn drawing in the style of folk painting.
We cut out the design, we get a lot of small petals and leaves.
Now we need to cut out the base, which will require taking measurements from the phone.
I made a small allowance on each side.
I have a case in two colors, why not? It is better to find out about errors immediately, before decorating work begins. That's why I try on the details first.
Before cutting out flowers, I also check the pattern.
The colors can be chosen arbitrarily, I took yellow, green, and made the background red.
To ensure that all parts of the composition are neat, you need sharp scissors, or the edges of the felt may fray. I decided to embroider the flower stem, so I marked it on the fabric with a pen.
I placed all the details on a felt cover. You can change their places, add or remove those that you consider unnecessary. This is a creative process!
You can just put the petals on glue, but I like to stitch them. I drop glue into the center of the part and press it firmly. The felt sticks together perfectly, the parts hold tightly, and you can handle the threads.
The stitches can be of any kind; I mainly use two types, but many craftswomen actively use different ones, especially decorative ones. Embroidered petals on felt products look more interesting than just glued ones.
When the composition is ready, you can sew the edges of the cover. Felt is easy to stitch either by machine or by hand.
I chose matching threads, but contrasting combinations also look impressive. It’s just that in this case the case itself is bright.
A felt case will protect your phone from dust and scratches, and will become an exclusive decoration, and anyone can make it.
