Modular origami involves the creation of any product using identical parts - modules. Therefore, having figured out the manufacture of one module, you can make the finished product without any problems. Our master class shows the step-by-step production of a modular flower.
Modular origami flower

To work, you will need 9 square pieces of colored paper, PVA glue, a pencil, a round object for tracing, scissors and a decorative core for a flower.
Modular origami flower

We begin manufacturing one module, which will be the petal. To do this, fold the square sheet along two diagonals.
Modular origami flower

After this, we make a blank in the form of a double triangle.
Modular origami flower

On one side we bend its corners up.
Modular origami flower

We straighten our sheet.

Fold the top corners of the square.
Modular origami flower

Turn the workpiece over to the other side and fold it as follows.
Modular origami flower

We unfold the blank of the future petal with the side where there is a triangle.
Modular origami flower

We bend its corners downwards, aligning them along the middle line.
Modular origami flower

For the flower we need eight such blanks.
Modular origami flower

We cut out a circle from the remaining sheet and mark the folds on it by folding it in half. As a result, the circle is divided into 4 parts. This will be the base of the flower.
Modular origami flower

Apply a little glue to the back of the petal and apply it to the base. It is important that the top of the petal is aligned with the center of the circle.
Modular origami flower

Next, glue the next petal, the upper part of which will slightly overlap the previous one.
Modular origami flower

In this way we secure all the petals to the base.
Modular origami flower

To decorate the middle of the flower we will use a decorative element.
