To create a patchwork brownie we needed:
• A little denim and checkered cotton fabric - the second was intentionally worn, because the mythological creature lives behind the stove and does not care too much about its costume.
• A coarse linen thread, threads of medium thickness, dark pink and blue.
• 2 needles - gypsy and thin.
• Scissors.
• 2 large and 2 small linen buttons; 1 button covered in plain chintz.
• A handful of cotton wool.
• Plastic cover from an unnecessary notebook, ballpoint pen.
Sequencing:
On plastic, a figure resembling an egg (body with the head) and a circle (ear) was drawn. Cut out both parts. A large piece was laid on the ironed checkered flap and circled. Made one more same detail. Two round ears were cut out of denim material.
The girl independently swept the ears with a double-folded pink thread and laid on each folds in those places that would later be attached to the temples of the toy. At this time, I sewed a pocket with a blue thread to the front lower part of the trunk, then made contrasting decorative stitches on the pocket and added decor - flowers from lace. The fabric-tightened button turned into a nose, the dark miniature buttons became eyes, and the tufts of thick light threads became hair and mustache. A thin needle was used to sew on all the little things listed.
Together, on the wrong side, we manually connected the parts of the body, turned it on the front side, ears were sewn into the previously left gaps, the doll was carefully stuffed with cotton wool over the crown, and this hole was sewn on the crown of the head.
From the same ball that helped us supply the head of the house with vegetation, 4 braids were twisted: the legs are more authentic, the handles are shorter. Using a gypsy needle, they attached legs, masking the attachment points with large buttons (thanks to them, a toy person can sit when it bothers to hang). Instead of bast shoes, they built him something like a sneaker, decorated them with imitation laces.
Under the oval patch on the back there were nodules that held hands on the body. They fastened a loop under the hairdo to hang the toy if you want. Having examined the product, we decided that flirty flowers on a plump belly emphasize the good nature of our hero. On the whole, he turned out to be positive and sweet, didn't he?
