The last few years have seen a significant increase in the popularity of felt accessories. All kinds of keychains, cosmetic bags, baskets and handbags are in demand among both women and little fashionistas. At the peak of popularity today are girls' handbags made of felt, imitating animal or plant figures.

To create such an accessory you will need:
- sheets of felt red and black;
- silicone glue in a special gun;
- scissors.
The handbag consists of two pairs of symmetrical parts, the templates of which must first be cut out of paper.
The base of the handbag, that is, the body of an insect with legs, is recreated from black felt in two copies. The upper part, imitating the wings of a ladybug, is cut out of red felt in the same quantity.
Two strips are prepared from black felt:
the first, the width of which can reach up to 10 centimeters, will connect the panels of the handbag;
the second, up to 3 centimeters wide, will become the handle of the product.
Accessory assembly process
Having finished preparing all the necessary parts of the handbag, you can begin assembling it in the following sequence:
1. Using silicone glue, the red top is attached to the black felt base of each panel of the future bag.
2. Silicone glue is gradually applied along the inner edge of one of the panels in a thin strip, onto which a wide felt strip sits edgewise.
3. In the same way, turning the product with the opposite side up, carefully attach the second felt panel. These operations should be performed carefully so that the silicone glue that extends beyond the felt does not damage the product when it hardens. Its excess can be removed immediately with the sharp edge of a stack or scissors.
4. The handle is attached last. To do this, about a centimeter of each end of a narrow felt strip is generously smeared with silicone glue, after which the edge of the handle is attached in the center to the inside of the wide strip.
An original handmade handbag will become a girl’s favorite everyday accessory, which will surely find proper use for it, serve for her toys or necessary little things.
