How often do many of us throw away things that are completely useless and unsuitable, at first glance. This is especially true for all kinds of packaging materials: from chips, crackers, instant coffee, chocolate. But these metallized films with a protective coating can do some good service. This material has increased strength, moisture resistance and sun protection, so why not use it to store household items at hand? Want to know how? Yes, it’s very simple - to sew a case, a cosmetic bag, a pencil case, a case for glasses, a wallet, and even a handbag from large packages!
One of these useful things is this case, which is sewn from ordinary chocolate wrappers.

And in order for such a thing to have a decent appearance, it is necessary to have wrappers on both sides of the product, plus a zipper and sewing threads that match the color, as well as thick lining fabric (preferably bright) and double-sided tape.

We cut off the back of each package, leaving only a beautiful front picture for work.
We apply tape from the inside around the entire perimeter of this picture and carefully apply the fabric.

Thanks to the fabric and the sticky layer of tape, the packaging film will not diverge at the puncture site.

Now you should fold these processed films and secure the upper folded edge with paper clips.

We will sew the zipper last, after all sides are motionless.
Let's start from the sides. We bend the outer edges of the two parts inward and stitch them on the outside with a reverse stitch.

So we stitch each side, right up to the very top.

At the end we sew in a zipper.

    Vlad100,
unless you sew Velcro to the lining (that is, to the fabric inside). You can completely sew up the top cut, and leave the side to open: then you will have to sew less Velcro, and it will be easier to close/open!
