Kanzashi hairpin set

It is among hair ornaments that the technique in modern needlework called kanzashi. This is a technique that came to us from oriental beauties who can very finely combine and create floral arrangements in different colors and ratios. So, oriental beauties learned to decorate combs, hairpins, dressings, elastic bands with beautiful flowers, which gave their hair special beauty and sophistication. This technique has passed to us, and is very popular today. Therefore, in order not to look for a master to create jewelry, you can familiarize yourself with this master class and make beautiful hairpins with your own hands.

For the master class you need to take:
• Ribbon from brocade of salad color 4 cm wide;
• Satin beige ribbon with polka dots 35 mm wide;
• Metal barrette automatic;
• Two metal hair clips, clips;
• scissors;
• Shiny cabochons for mid-green;
• glue gun;
• Scissors, ruler, lighter, tweezers and pencil.

In this master class, we will consider the creation of different hairpins, the flowers on which will be made in two colors and the petals will be made in two types.


We cut the squares from the brocade ribbon 4 * 4 cm and from the satin ribbon 35 * 35 mm. We cut a lot of squares from both ribbons and burn them all along the edges with a lighter.


So, we take one small square. Add the satin square diagonally.


Then we fold it again.


Clamp in the clamp and put it aside. Now we also add the brocade square.


The first time folded and the second. Now we put the salad dressing on the beige, with a shift of about 2 mm down. Clamp together.


Fold again in half and make the slicers side and bottom. They need to be burned with a lighter.


The first kind of petal is ready. Now we will make the petals of a different kind. Take also the square.


Fold in half diagonally once, then inward the right side of the petal.


Then the left side of the petal. Now turn the petal back and cut from the bottom and side.


All slices are also fired and level the petal.


We do the same with the brocade square.


We get the same petal with a partition.


So, we make double petals of 14 pieces, and single 8 pieces from each ribbon.


From the brocade ribbon we cut four circles and burn them. Now in circles we begin to collect and stick the flower petals. We alternate the rounded petals and paste eight petals per flower, and we collect the sharp double petals seven petals per flower. Glue cabochons inside, then glue flowers on metal hairpins.
