So, you need to start with the fact that, for starters, we need to prepare for the covers a solid book base of binding paper. To do this, we need to combine two blanks into one single. To do this, cut off white cardboard or watercolor paper measuring 6.5 * 13 cm. And divide at least the following parts: 3cm * 0.5 cm * 3cm. We put marks on the top and bottom.
Now, under the ruler with the blunt end of the scissors, we draw bending lines, fold them and glue and glue them together with two glue sticks and connect two binding sheets of cardboard together.
Press well, smooth and hold the blunt tip of the scissors at the bend on both sides. Thus, between the blanks there is a space of 0.5 cm for folding the finished cover.
Now we cut off the sheet synthetic winterizer and glue it with double-sided tape outside the workpieces.
Now we need fabric. We will combine the colors there and there, so we cut pieces of such sizes for the first cover: red 8 * 18 cm in size, two cuts and pink 13 * 18 cm, for the second, on the contrary, we take the sizes: pink two cuts 8 * 18 cm and one red a cut of 13 * 18 cm. We calculate so that in a stitched form we have 26-26.5 cm by 18 cm.
Now the fabric needs to be properly ironed to a single fold in the steam. Now we sew the pieces together, and also pay attention, immediately overcast the sides of both pieces.
Now turn the fabric face down and spread the binding blank from the bottom and top with glue pencil.
Wrap and glue like this on two blanks. Now we need to insert the elastic on the eyelets.
Behind the covers, we make holes at the same distance between the grommets installer from above and below, insert the rubber band so that the tail remains, then the grommet and fix it with the installer.
It turns out here is such a clasp, so that later kept the cover closed. We do the same on the second.
Now from scrapbook paper we cut out such blanks of 9 * 0.5 * 9 cm and 12.7 cm. We also draw bending lines.
Now pre-fold the covers, wrap the inner parts and glue the tape, pictures and inscription. We sew them with a machine.
Now we put pendants on brads. Now all that remains for us is to glue the internal parts of the cover and flash them. We take glue with the effect of double-sided tape and glue it in both covers. Press for quite a while.
Now we wrap the fabric tails inward and sew each cover from the outside. Done, you can insert a passport.
