How to make a scented teddy bear

Handmade has always been valued. And if this is the ability to make beautiful toys, then such an activity is doubly worthy of respect. After all, a needlewoman can make toys for her children and give them to all the children of her friends and relatives. But you always want to create unusual toys, ones that are inaccessible to an ordinary seamstress. Today we’ll look at a way to make a small teddy bear that smells delicious. This kind of toy is called flavored. It fits on the palm of your hand. This is what it looks like.

The method of sewing a toy is very simple. The work will take about 1.5 hours.
You will need:

• white fleece-type fabric;
  
• sewing thread and needle;
  
• filler;
  
• toy eyes and glue;
  
• a glass of strongly brewed tea;
  
• salt;
  
• Eucalyptus oil.
  
• Let's look at our work step by step.

Stage one. Pattern.
Any handicraft always begins with a pattern. So we need to create it first on paper, and then transfer it to fabric. This is what the paper pattern looks like.

We transfer it to the fabric using special markers; some details must be done in several copies.

So, we should have 2 head parts, 1 upper head part, 4 lower limb parts, 4 upper limb parts, 4 ear parts, 4 torso parts.

Stage two. We sew the details.
We begin to sew 4 parts of the body. Add holofiber. This is what we get.

Then we sew together first the two parts of the muzzle, and then the top part. The material is so good that the seams are almost invisible. Sew on the bear's ears. We fill the toy with filler.

Now we need to sew on the head and body, which is what we are doing.

Next, we sew the legs together and stuff them.

After stuffing the legs, we sew them together so that there are no holes.
And in place of the upper limbs we insert a wire.

Sew the legs to the body.

Then we do the same with the lower limbs. Let's do them first.
Then we stretch the wire in their place.

And then we sew them to the toy.

The skeleton of the toy is ready, all that remains is to make the bear scented.

Stage three. The most important details.
Brew tea in a glass and wait until it turns dark brown. Add 2 tablespoons of salt to the glass. Mix. We paint our bear with this solution, and you can put it in a bowl of tea.
Next we dry the toy. Tea is a natural dye, so our baby will turn light brown. After drying, it will smell pleasantly like tea, and to secure the other aroma, generously smear the toy’s forehead with eucalyptus oil. The smell will be simply amazing!
Then you should glue the eyes from black beads and embroider the bear’s nose and eyebrows. You can also embroider claws.
