At any time of the year, in order to change your inner feelings, you need to surround yourself with things pleasing to the eye, or even better, decorate yourself with them.
I propose to arrange a spring burst of emotions with the help of decoration. To do this, make a unique airy necklace of original design on your own.
The necklace will consist of two parts that make up a single ensemble and are connected by a lock.
We will need:
- thin-nosed pliers, round-nose pliers, side cutters (popularly called wire cutters),
- ruler,
- 22M lavsan threads, bead needle, scissors,
- small transparent colorless beads,
- bright green small short glass beads,
- colorless transparent beads measuring 5 mm (64 pieces) and 8 mm (7 pieces),
- 2 double connecting rings,
- 2 hats,
- screw lock,
- steel-colored chain at least 10 cm long,
- 2 pins ending in a loop.
Manufacturing algorithm.
1. First we will assemble the side of the necklace with two rows of beads. Let's call it “part 1”.
To do this, we take green glass beads, 5 mm beads - 32 pieces, lavsan threads, a bead needle, scissors and a connecting ring.
Using a ruler or by eye, measure a thread with a length equal to two times the expected length of the desired side plus 10-15 cm. The thread should be folded in half.
We fasten the thread to the ring and, using a bead needle, collect the thread with beads in the following order: 3 pieces of bugles (only once at the very beginning), 1 bead, 1 bugle bead and so on until the desired length.
All necklace threads will start with 3 pieces of green bugles. This is necessary so that the necklace looks neat and symmetrical. In the future, most of the bugles will be inside the caps.
The length of the thread before the next stage of collection begins will be approximately 23 cm.
2. We collect the thread further and instead of 5 mm beads, use 8 mm beads - 7 pcs. Before the first of them we do not put on bugles.
3. Then we arrange the thread with beads in the form of a loop and thread it through the first 8 mm bead. We continue to collect a thread with 5 mm beads in the amount of 32 pieces.
4. Lastly, we put on 3 pieces of green bugles and fasten the thread to the ring.
5. For the next stage, take green bugles, transparent beads, lavsan threads, a bead needle, and a connecting ring.
We measure the thread in double length at least 40-45 cm and fasten it to the ring.
6. Collect threads with beads.
We start all the threads with three pieces of glass beads.
There will be 9 threads in total with a length of 31-33 cm.
Each thread will have a different sequence of beads and bugles, namely:
1 glass bead: 1 bead, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1.
7.Take the first part of the necklace, a pin, a cap, pliers, and wire cutters.
8. Unclench the ring of the pin and put it on the connecting ring.
If you have a special tool for opening jump rings of this type, then for convenience it is better to use it. This also prevents the pin from deforming.
9. We put the cap on the pin.
10. Take the second part of the necklace, a pin, a cap, round nose pliers and wire cutters.
We perform the same operations as with the first pin, open its ring and put it on the connecting ring.
We put on a hat.
11. Using round-nose pliers, bend the pin at an angle of about 90.
12. Using round-nose pliers and thin-nose pliers, we form a loop from the pin, and cut off the excess part of the pin with wire cutters.
13. Repeat the previous steps with part 1.
If the caps do not fit tightly to the threads, carefully crimp them with thin-nose pliers.
14. Take thin-nose pliers and a lock, open the ring on it and put it into the loop of the pin. We close the loop.
15. Take the other part of the necklace and the chain. We open the loop of the pin, put it on the chain segment and close it using thin-nose pliers.
16. Using wire cutters, cut the chain to the desired length.
17. Connect the chain with the lock.
18. Thread the beaded part of the necklace through the ring of the beaded part.
The necklace is ready.
The necklace turned out to be bright and original, noticeable and uplifting. It will help decorate any clothes and give its owner many pleasant moments.
