To make such a craft, we needed:
- Pencil;
- scissors;
- Stapler;
- CDs in two shades (gray and green);
- Special shears for cutting metal;
- One DVD-ROM with a purple laser surface;
- glue;
- A piece of foam of medium thickness (about 1.3 cm.);
- Napkins of white color;
- Connecting ring and lace.
Starting work, we take a foam sheet of medium thickness and cut out from it a heart shape about 17 cm long and 21.5 cm wide:
Next, we take simple white napkins:
Having folded these napkins twice, we fasten them in the middle with two staples (here we need a stapler):
After that, we need to cut out the shapes of flowers from the resulting napkins. To make it easier to work, and not to make mistakes when cutting, you need to make a sample of paper in advance:
Next, we need to fold all the layers of paper petals in turn up and, having accepted, dissolve (that is, "open" the flower):
After that, we need to glue the resulting flowers to the shape of the heart:
We need to make such flowers only about seventeen pieces.
When all the flowers are glued to the shape of the heart, we will begin to decorate our crafts particles from CDs. But first, on its surface, we must draw the contours of the image, and then take five CDs with a laser surface of different colors and use special scissors for cutting metal to cut them into particles of different sizes and shapes:
From these finely chopped particles, we need to select particles of suitable size and shape in order to make the image or record we need from them:
We decided to cover all the free space on the surface of the foam plastic figure with particles from compact discs of gray color (it seems to be lighter than green and purple):
So we paved the back side, depicting slightly different figures on it:
When working with CDs, finding the right particle can be difficult, but cutting is also difficult: cracks often appear in unwanted areas, particles crumble and delaminate. They can lose their laser film, which gives them the ability to sparkle and shimmer with all the colors of the rainbow, and then they will need to spend a lot more glue than intended. In total, it took us three CDs with a gray surface, and one disk each with a surface of greenish and purple colors. Next we need to make a loop. To do this, we take a connecting ring with a silver thread, taken as a lace and connect them:
We sew the resulting loop to the top of the craft. After tying it is a little noticeable:
After that, everything - our craft is ready.It can be placed in a closet, hung on a wall by a nail, and it will be nice to decorate any room:
