Valentines of different shapes

The readiness for February 14 is already in full swing, so we are in a hurry to prepare many valentines to congratulate not only our soulmate, but also for the rest of our family, as well as for friends, colleagues and various relatives. At first glance, it seems, yes, that there, a trifle, went-bought-congratulated. But all this is somehow mundane and simple, but I really want some zest to have some chic and beauty in your present. It already needs art, imagination and hands. You can use one interesting technique called scrapbooking and make a lot of valentines absolutely for everyone with their own hands. Here is one example of such manufacture shown in this master class.

For this master class we will need to take:
• Three finished blanks measuring 9 * 10 cm in pink, purple and red;
• Two sheets of red cardboard of A4 format;
• Heart shaped elongated shape;
• Scrapbooking paper with flowers, hearts, inscriptions in pale pink, pink and red-brown;
• Cutting down hearts of pink, red and white;
• Pictures with different animals with congratulations and bouquets of flowers;
• Acrylic stamps “Happy Valentine's Day” and “With love";
• Burgundy ink pillow;
• Hole puncher;
• Watercolor paper;
• Satin ribbons 12 mm wide pink and white in colored hearts;
• Red, light pink and white-pink latex roses;
• Die cut flowers and hearts;
• Cabochons made of silver and pink rhinestones;
• Pearl white half beads;
• Small polymer flowers;
• Large-sized stamens in sugar pink, orange and purple;
• Scissors, glue stick, ruler, double-sided tape, simple pencil, thermal gun.

We put the finished blanks aside, and we need to cut out the base blanks in the shape of hearts. We take the pattern of the heart, only convex, elongated, such as in the photo. All valentines with us will be double, opening, respectively, such a pattern.

Cut out the whole pattern. Fold in half along the sheets of red cardboard.

We also double the template and fold it in this form to the cardboard and circle it. It turns out two blanks from each sheet.

We cut out these four heart-shaped blanks.

Now, each Valentine will be sheathed on two sides with scrapbook paper, and a watercolor blank will be inserted inside the inscription. We cut our template in half and slightly, cut it at the edges by 2 mm. Cut eight hearts and six rectangles from scrapbook paper. We also cut four hearts and three rectangles from watercolor paper.

The blanks, which are made from watercolor, need to be tinted around the edges with a pillow with ink. Glue the watercolor parts inside each valentine’s on double-sided tape.

Now we need to stamp the inscriptions also on watercolor paper and cut out the pictures. All is also tinted with a small pillow. First we glue the hearts from the cutting, on them pictures and inscriptions.

On a sewing machine, we sew everything on each Valentine card and now we glue the prepared scrap blanks to the basics of the valentines in front and behind. Glue with a glue stick.
