The reason for creating a vase from a plastic bottle was flowers made from white plastic bags. The chrysanthemums turned out to be so tender and light that I had to look for options in which the floral arrangement would be in harmony with the vase. Ceramic jugs looked too rude. Against their background, transparent petals lost their lightness and faded. In a rich crystal vase, chrysanthemums also did not take root, taking the form of poor relatives.
For the design of the bouquet, a blue plastic bottle was perfect. From a container for sparkling water, it turned into an unusually beautiful, openwork vase.

For work, I used:
- a plastic bottle (0.5 l).
- scissors.
- the needle.
- a candle.

First, in the bottom of the bottle, cut a hole equal to the diameter of the lid, and then cut off the lower part, deviating from the bottom about 1 cm. We got two parts and a lid.

We put the bowl with the hole on the neck of the bottle and twist the lid. The base for the vase is ready. You can even pour water into such a container. The main thing is to screw the cap tightly.

However, our flower from plastic bags does not need water, so we will decorate the vase. To do this, light a candle or use a gas burner. The tip of the sewing needle is held above the flame for 8-10 seconds and easily puncture holes in the plastic. A red-hot needle enters the wall of the bottle, as if in oil. Immediately you need to decide on the ornament or pattern, which we plan to reproduce on a vase. We decided to decorate the upper part with a flower row, so we made holes - the tops of the five petals.
Next, we cut flowers with small scissors.

It turns out such a wonderful edging. The irregularities and roughness that result from cutting elements can be smoothed out if you light a match and quickly insert it through the hole in the petal. The edges of the plastic will melt and round. However, one must act quickly and clearly, as there is a risk of spoiling the work.

Further we will use the idea of bottle designers. Initially, the surface of our container in the neck area was with longitudinal recesses (grooves). We will take advantage of the situation and make holes with a red-hot needle along the recesses.

It remains to decorate the lower part of the vase. For convenience, we will remove the bowl from the neck and design the patterns. We cut out the leaves on the bulges and densely shred them with holes. Cut the leaves along the edge. The brown fused edges of some punctures do not scare us. They are easily cleaned with any coarse material: sandpaper, nail file.

Connect the disparate elements of the vase together. We demonstrate the delicacy of plastic.
