First, you need to crochet the ball with a crochet:
1st row - 3 air loops; further along the spiral, the 2nd row is the increase in each loop, then the two rows are the increase through the loop, the next 2 rows are through 2 loops. Slightly not reaching the middle of the ball, in each row there are 3 increases. When the diameter of the "coat" is equal to the diameter of the ball - knit several rows without increments, place the ball there. Then, until the end, a similar decrease in loops. The number of rows and loops depends on the yarn and the density of knitting, in this example, 18 rows were obtained, “children's yarn” of 50 g / 200 m was used.
