First, you need to clearly understand that the on-board network of a car has a voltage of 12 volts (we don’t take trucks - let them fry there). The most accessible way to connect to the on-board network is the cigarette lighter socket.
Take an old, forgotten container (cooler bag),

interior heater radiator (suitable size),

a submersible pump, a couple of fans (size also matters), tubes, wires, and an old cell phone charger.

We strengthen the pump at the bottom of the container. By the way, you can take an aquarium pump or from a car window washer barrel. Pull the wires out.

In the lid of the cooler bag we make a square cutout on the inside, and two round ones on the outside for fans. We screw the fans in and connect their wiring.

We strengthen the radiator on the inside of the cover (with the pipes facing down). Can be mounted on silicone.

For convenience, we attach the lid to the body with a piano hinge (I had it lying around in the garage).

We connect the pump output to the radiator inlet on the cover. You can also attach some kind of hose to the radiator outlet so that the water does not gurgle too much. We connect all the wires to the wires of the used charger and this entire System is ready to be connected to the cigarette lighter!

How does it all work?

Ice is poured into the container (cold accumulators can be used) and water is poured. When turned on, the pump begins to pump cold water from the reservoir into the radiator, and the fans blow cooled air outside. Eco-friendly? 100% Economical? 100% Effective - yes, but only for about an hour, then you need to add new ice. This system can be projected onto larger sizes and volumes. Moreover, it can be used indoors (then you can make 220V).

USB air conditioner

It's hot time. But many homes or offices, unfortunately, do not have air conditioning, and therefore you have to sit and swelter in the heat. But there is a way out! You can make a very simple USB air conditioner using improvised materials.

We will need:
1) Unnecessary CD\DVD disk
2) Container (plastic, metal, whatever)
3) Several screws or sticks
4) Cooler or other ventilating device
5) USB cable

Device:
1) There is nothing complicated in making such an air conditioner. Take your container and visually divide it into 3 parts.
2) Take the disk and drill/pick many, many holes in it. And if you have a metal mesh or an unnecessary sieve, you can use it.
3) Insert our resulting sieve at a distance of 1/3 from the bottom.
4) Poke holes in this lower part on the side of the glass - warm air will flow into them.
5) Place ice on top of the sieve. When melting, all this will flow into the lower compartment, and this water can then simply be drained.
6) Well, the final step - on top of this entire structure you need to attach a cooler that blows outward. I cut a square hole in the lid for him, and simply secured it with glue and closed the lid.
7) All that remains is to attach the USB cable to the wire.To do this, cut off the end that needs to be attached to the fan, and hook the red and black wires to the contacts.

DIY air conditioner

Autonomous evaporative air conditioner is designed for residential and public premises up to 30 square meters. m. In winter, when relative air humidity is low, air conditioning is used to humidify the air. In summer, you can install it in a window; it will simultaneously increase ventilation and cool the air. The operation of the air conditioner is simple.

The air enters it through the grille, is cleaned of dust in the oil filter, passes through the humidifier and is supplied into the room through the guide grille. The axial fan (with a capacity of 300 cubic meters per hour) sometimes makes noise, which is annoying. To reduce noise, an electric lamp or other resistance is connected in series with the fan in the electrical circuit. The lamp power is selected so that the noise is minimal. When the lamp is on, the hole serves as an indicator that the air conditioner is operating.

The air conditioner humidifier is a box through which hygroscopic wicks made of gauze, cambric, etc. are passed. The diameters of the holes for the wicks are 3 mm, the pitch is 5 mm. There are 8 rows of holes in the cross section of the box.

On the box on a stand there is a tank with a capacity of 1.5-2 liters. Water is poured into the tank. It goes down through the wicks from the tank, evaporates along the way, humidifying the air, and what has not had time to evaporate accumulates in the pan. After the tank is emptied, the water from the pan rises up through the wicks and evaporates again. To prevent the wicks from rotting, it is better to turn on the air conditioner only after the water has completely evaporated.

The oil filter is a wooden frame to which a wire mesh is attached. The mesh cell size is 1x1 mm.The mesh is lubricated with Vaseline oil. When the filter gets dirty, wash it with hot water (1-2 times) a month.

The evaporative air conditioner has been tested in several apartments and has had a positive effect.

COOLER-HUMIDIFIER. The operating principle of a room cooler-humidifier is based on the need for a large amount of heat to evaporate water. About 3 liters of water are poured into the tray (8), installed horizontally.

The sections made of hygroscopic material built into the tray (ordinary fabric for towels can be used) constantly absorb water, and a room fan placed (on the street side) in front of the sections constantly dries them with a continuous flow of air. The device is installed in a window. At the same time, the temperature difference at the inlet and outlet is approximately 10 degrees, and the water consumption (for the climate of Central Asia) is approximately 1 liter per hour. Air intake can be done both from the street and from the room by adjusting the dampers. There are blinds (12) to direct the air flow, and a hatch (13) to fill the water. Dust coming from the air settles in the pan. To make this device, you can use wooden blocks and pressed and well-painted cardboard or plywood.

Isn't it easier to just blow off the ice??? Why cool water and then heat it?
