Valentine's Day candle with decor

The holiday of all lovers is approaching us - Valentine's Day. This is not an easy day, it is one of the most romantic and tender holidays of winter, which gives all couples in love joy, tender feelings and romantic gifts. The symbol of such a holiday is “Valentine's Day”, and it is precisely on this holiday that people exchange among themselves. Any holiday brings a person positive and pleasant memories, but for this you need to work hard. What is meant by this and how to prepare for this holiday after all so that it will be remembered for a long time? First of all, of course, you need to choose a gift for your soulmate, here everyone has a different way. Guys do not bother much and manage with a bouquet of flowers and sweets, older men already choose more worthy gifts, for example, perfume or jewelry, but women and girls on this holiday are somehow incomprehensible. One thing we know for sure is that you simply cannot leave your other half unattended and without a gift. How to be the female half of humanity? Girls and women, for example, can buy something from items of things or men's accessories, for example, a tie, pullover, shirt, watch, cufflinks or belt, in general, in a word, something that is pleasant and preferably to a particular man. Well, the best and most pleasant surprise for your beloved man will be a beautifully laid and decorated table with a romantic dinner. By the way, it’s the women who know how to surprise and please their man, cook his favorite dish and present it all beautifully and in an original way. The original candle with the decor, which is made with your own hands, will complement the hearth and create romance on the festive table. It is precisely this that we are now going to do, and right from that moment, we will begin. We take the following:
• Candle food paraffin, approximately 150 grams;
• Wick holder and wick to the height of the candle, plus 2 cm in reserve;
• Napkins for decoupage with hearts;
• Liquid red glitter;
• Watercolor paper;
• Red cardboard;
• Pink scrapbooking paper;
• Curb hole punch;
• Ribbon rep 2.5 cm wide with angels;
• Ribbon with pink pompons;
• Red satin polka dot ribbon;
• Peach net;
• Red flower, white stamens;
• Epoxy flower sticker;
• Red rose made of polymer clay;
• Pink brocade ribbon;
• Ribbon made of white organza;
• Rhinestones hearts;
• Glass for the form;
• glue gun;
• Double-sided tape;
• Ruler, pencil, scissors;
• Plate for a water bath;
• tablespoon;
• A pair of toothpicks.




First you need to make the candle itself. We heat the water bath, put a plate on it, lay the paraffin in it and begin to melt it on a slow flame. Meanwhile, insert the wick into the holder, put two toothpicks on the glass and lower it into the glass. Pour the wick into a glass form.




We carefully remove the top layer from the napkins and cut off the fragments of hearts.




We take out the candle from the mold, heat the spoon on the fire and put individual pictures on the candle and melt it with a hot spoon.




The whole candle is decorated.




Now we make out the scenery. Cut watercolor paper 7 * 17 cm, red cardboard 6 * 17 cm and scrapbook paper 5 * 17 cm.




We make cardboard lace with a puncher. With double-sided tape, glue the strips together.




In the center we glue the rep tape and flash it on a typewriter. Glue PVA glue the ring. Ready now decor. We tie bows from different ribbons, cut a piece of mesh and fold it with a bow. From the stamens and flowers we form a bouquet.




Glue the front and back bows, then a bouquet and an epoxy sticker, glue a ribbon with pompoms, and in the center of the bows hearts and flowers made of polymer clay.




Insert the candle into the composition and you're done! The result was such a romantic and vibrant table decoration! I am grateful to everyone and good luck!
