What is necessary?
So, before you start creating, you should go over the shops and purchase:
• a white panama hat or beret (I have left since the summer);
• green scarf;
• narrow green ribbon (preferably in the tone of a scarf) - one meter;
• transparent cellophane bag;
• cotton wool - 50 grams;
• khaki threads;
• thread trimming for knitting or embroidery in yellow;
• PVA glue;
• white edging tape - two meters;
• a white shirt is ordinary;
• black classic trousers.
Work process
1. So, first of all, you need to sheathe a green scarf with a white border. Next, we sew the bottom of the panama with a green ribbon.
2. We make garlic: from a small amount of cotton wool we make a dense ball and place it in a cellophane bag. Now we use the khaki thread to tie the ends so that the cotton wool does not fall out. Then, exactly in the middle, we catch the ball with the thread, again wrap the tail with the thread, crosswise. Thus we make garlic cloves and tightly tie the thread on the tail. For the beard, finely chop the yellow threads. At the intersection of the threads, grease with glue and attach them in a chaotic order.
3. Thus, we produce as many heads of garlic as necessary. I made seven pieces: three on a beret, and four on a belt (two garlics on each end).
4. Next, nothing at all remains: we attach garlic to the products.
5. Putting on a suit: the child wears black trousers (they symbolize the land in which garlic grows), a white shirt (the main color of the vegetable), a scarf belt (we tie with a beautiful knot, leaving the ends to hang), and a beret on the head.
The costume came out original and beautiful, at the matinee they asked me where I rented such a nice set. And to make it possible even for those who have little time, and creativity is not a hobby. Good luck
