To make an elastic band you need the following materials:
- foamiran light yellow, brown, green and yellow with sparkles.
- lighter.
- dry pastel raspberry color.
- wet wipes.
- scissors.
- glue gun.
- scrunchy.
Cut out templates for flowers. They are shaped like a flower with 6 petals. The templates will be in two sizes, with a diameter of 6.5 and 7 cm.
From light suede we cut out 3 pieces of each size using these templates.
On these petals, in each part of it, we separately draw invisible veins. We place them from the middle of the petal to the edge.
When everything is drawn, we start painting with a damp cloth. After rubbing it over the dry pastel, we paint only in the middle of the petals.
We fold the dried blanks and knead the middle and edge of the petal with our fingers. Then we straighten it.
The petals are ready, now we make the stamens. We cut out 3 strips measuring 10 x 1.5 cm. We make three of them brown, and 3 of yellow with sparkles.
From these blanks we cut fringe. We arrange the strips lengthwise and cut them into small sticks according to the height of the workpiece, without cutting 0.3 cm to the edge.
Now let's start assembling the flower, starting with the yellow stamens. Roll the fringe in a straight line using a glue gun.
Glue brown ones onto the yellow stamens.
Now we take a lighter and use it to heat the workpiece, the edges of the stamens curl slightly downwards.
For one flower we will take two petals, first we take a smaller one, and glue the finished stamens into its middle.
Then we take a large petal and attach it to the small one.
But our product contains three such flowers.
We cut out small leaves from green suede in any shape, no higher than 2 cm.
Glue 3 leaves side by side on the wrong side of the flower, placing them in one direction.
We connect 3 flowers to each other, pressing them with leaves. Secure from the inside with a glue gun.
From light suede we cut out a circle with a diameter of 2.5 cm. With this blank we cover the place where the flowers are glued, and we attach a regular hair elastic to it.
But in order for it to hold tightly, we glue a small strip over the elastic, securing the edges to the circle.
And with that our elastic band is ready.
