To create such a jabot brooch you will need:
- a tape 0.7 cm wide in light green color.
- blank for brooches.
- glue gun.
- green satin ribbon 2 cm wide.
- scissors.
Work description.
From the light green ribbon, cut three long strips to create the base of the brooch. All segments should reach 16 cm.
Then we take each tape individually and glue the edges together, combining them in the middle of the part. Also glue all three segments.
We get such blanks. Now we collect a bow from them, laying one on top of the other, crossing them in the center.
Set the resulting part aside and proceed to create blanks for the main bow. From a green shade tape, we prepare 6 identical segments, each 8.5 cm long. Then, we carefully singe the slices on all the workpieces. And with a glue gun we connect the two edges of each workpiece together, creating loops from them.
Now we attach these details on top of the green bow, combining them, but retreating from the edges by 2-3 mm.
Similarly, attach the loops on the second side of the bow.
We get such a double bow. Next, we cut out from the salad ribbon two strips 5 cm long each.
We singe their slices and glue them together in two loops. Then we attach these details to the prepared bow, but placing them strictly diagonally and along the center.
We set the bow aside and prepare a voluminous tail for it. To do this, cut 4 pieces of 7 cm long from the green tape and burn the edges. We form loops from three, and leave the last strip in a straight line. Then we cut 10 strips from a ribbon of light green shade, each 6 cm long. Also we singe all the available slices and glue them into a loop.
Now we place the piece of green ribbon vertically, it will serve as the basis for the tail of the brooch and glue 3 green eyelets on the bottom cut, folding them with a fan.
Further along the strip of the base we attach one green eyelet. We take two light loops and cover them with the place of gluing the previous part, directing them in different directions.
It remains to gradually attach the last two green blanks, closing their slices with details from light green ribbons.
Then we complete the created row of green blanks with an attached loop of green ribbon.
We get such a tail for a brooch. We fix on it the previously doubled bow. And in the center of the bow we glue the button wrapped with a ribbon.
We unfold the part with the wrong side up and glue the steel blank of the brooch.
