A souvenir for Easter can be easily and quickly made with your own hands. You will need a few materials that are easy to find in every home. In just a few minutes you will get a unique, beautiful and practical present: serving napkin for the holiday table.

Materials:
• Napkins (paper with a pattern).
• PVA glue.
• Scissors.
• Canvas or plain cotton material.
• Iron.
• Parchment paper.

Easter napkin

There are usually several pictures on napkins; first, cut out the motif you like or several.

Easter napkin

For the master class, 2 pictures were used: one with a chicken, the other with Christian symbols (a bowl, the Bible).

Easter napkin

The next stage: adjust the material to the size of the drawing. To do this, we apply the cut out motif onto the canvas.

Easter napkin

Even if the napkin is a little wrinkled, this is not a problem; at the final stage everything will be smoothed out.

Easter napkin

Working with canvas is very simple - cut out a rectangle of the required size, no need to mark anything.

Easter napkin

If the canvas frays around the edges, it is worth cutting off a little extra in order to remove the untidy ends.

Easter napkin

The napkin should be put aside, and the canvas should be placed on a craft mat or other surface that does not absorb glue.Cover the surface of the material evenly with PVA glue, leaving no gaps.

Easter napkin

Leave the glue to dry for a few minutes, at this time turn on the iron and let it warm up. Set the maximum temperature and turn off the steam mode.

Easter napkin

Take the drawing and carefully apply it to the fabric soaked in glue.

Easter napkin

On top is a layer of parchment that will protect the napkin and prevent it from sticking to the hot iron.

Easter napkin

Iron the napkin, this usually takes 2-3 minutes.

Easter napkin

Carefully lift the parchment from the corner. It should come away freely; if it sticks, you need to hold the hot iron over it a little longer.

Easter napkin

The napkin may bend in the corners, this problem can be easily corrected. We place the napkin in a large book, or put it under pressure.

Easter napkin

If the picture is glued unevenly around the edges, you can trim it, the picture will not come off.

Easter napkin

The shape of the napkin does not have to be rectangular; you can make it round.

The finished, completely dry napkin can be coated with acrylic varnish - then it is not afraid of any dirt or moisture.
