Postcard “With Love”

At first glance, it seems that it is very simple to give a gift to your other half, but it is not always simple. If a guy prepares a gift for a girl, what are his main options: flowers, perfume, sweets, Stuffed Toys, some decorations. But for a girl, on the contrary, it is very difficult to choose a gift, even if it is her other half. Men are generally unpredictable and everyone has different tastes, but mostly girls give guys shirts, ties, eau de toilette, various collectible souvenirs and items. But somehow the gift needs to be reinforced and diversified, supplemented with congratulations and gentle words. And you can express your feelings and words in a greeting card that you can make yourself. Since love is associated with contrasting colors red and white, we will do it in these colors, and technology will help in this creation scrapbooking. It is quite popular and very interesting, making products in it is a real pleasure.

For a master class of such a postcard you need to take:
• Red cardboard A4 format;
• Paper for scrapbooking in three shades;
• Picture of a bear with hearts;
• Printed inscriptions;
• Cut out red hearts from cardboard, large and medium;
• Border hole punch with lace;
• Carved red butterfly;
• Stamens-twigs are red and burgundy;
• Pearl beads on a fishing line;
• Red heart made of polymer clay;
• Small red chrysanthemums and a plastic lock;
• Red poppy, berry and complex stamens are also red;
• Satin ribbons, red narrow with polka dots and wide white with red hearts;
• Red die-cut bow;
• The cord is red and white;
• Beige half beads;
• Stamped inscription “With love”;

• PVA glue, double-sided tape, glue gun;

Our postcard will be an opening shape, in the form of a gate, so first we cut out its base from cardboard, namely, first we cut out a rectangle of 18*30 cm. We divide it into parts of 7.5*15*7.5 cm, draw bends and fold it.




We get this form. Immediately cut out strips of ribbon so that the finished card is tied with a bow. We cut strips into hearts 12 cm long and glue them with tape in the middle.

We cut out these sizes from different scrap paper.




We make the smallest ones into lace, we also make lace from red cardboard, as well as from other leftovers.




We glue all the strips with PVA glue and connect 6.7*17.5 cm rectangles. Pictures with inscriptions are tinted along the edges with a pillow.




We glue the inscriptions and pictures to the scrap paper and sew each one on with a typewriter. Now we glue all the individual parts to the base.




We machine sew on the outside of the sides and the inside in the middle.




Now we just glue decoras in the photo. We are already gluing everything on the decorations with a glue gun.
