Such a hairpin will last a long time and bring joy. Because this material is not afraid of water, does not fade and does not crease.

Peony from foamiran

For work, we need:
- suede in three colors - pink, a little purple and green.
- scissors.
- hairclip.
- glue gun.
- a piece of foil.
We will prepare templates for our peony. For a flower you need 20 pieces of small petals, 15 pieces of medium sized petals and 9 pieces of the largest. Two carved leaves and 1 flower backing. Even for the middle of the peony you need a circle with a diameter of 5 cm and a strip for stamens.

Cut out all the details

We cut out all the details according to the patterns. From pink material, cut out the medium and large petals for the peony, as well as a circle for the middle of the flower. From the purple canvas we cut out small petals. And the leaves and the backing will be green. We make stamens from brown fabric.

We will prepare the templates

We take green blanks and hold them in our hands for a while, giving them the opportunity to warm themselves, and give them the necessary shape, because this type of suede is subject only to heat. We bend the leaves along the length into an accordion and begin to twist by hands, clamping the workpiece between the palms. When rubbing hands, heat is released and the material will begin to remember a new shape.

Now let's spread the leaves a little, and the cooled suede will repeat the created lines of bends.

In the same way, twist the edges of the large petals with your fingers.

We also make bends on medium and small petals. Giving them the shape of natural flowers.

So all the petals are ready.

We proceed to the manufacture of the middle of the peony. Take the foil and twist into a ball. Then we press the workpiece to the table to obtain a hemisphere. In diameter, it should reach 2.5 cm and a height of 1.5 cm. This will be the base of the future flower.

glue

We glue this middle with the cooked pink circle.

Now we need stamens and we use a brown strip 8.5 cm long and 2.5 cm wide. On it we make frequent cuts along the length, leaving 0.5 cm to the edge of the workpiece intact. Then we fold this part upside down, and twist it into a tube, warm it in our palms, like other workpieces. We straighten the strip and get interesting stamens.

Getting started

We begin to assemble the peony. To the middle - base along the lower edge we fix the stamens with a glue gun.

On top of the stamens, we fix the first row of small purple petals. We attach them to the bottom of the base, placing the parts side by side to each other.

In the second row we fix the remaining small petals, staggering.

We begin to glue the medium sized pink petals. We fix the first row without overlapping each other. The main thing is to adhere to the same location along the edge of the base.

In the second row, we place the petals on top of each other, gluing in a checkerboard pattern.

There were large pink petals. We fix them on an inverted basis. It turns out that the flower lies face down. Glue the first 3 petals to the middle of the base close to each other, closing the bottom of the flower.

We attach the rest of the petals to each other in a checkerboard pattern. The flower is ready.

On the underside of the flower we fix the green leaves. One is directed in one direction, the second sheet in the other.

Covering the base of the leaves and the place from fixing to the flower, glue the green substrate. We fix the hair clip on the attached part.
