In order to complement your interior with an original element, it is not necessary to spend big money. DIY crafted decor from pebbles will cost mere pennies and give unforgettable minutes of enjoyment of the creative process. For work, you need small flat sea (or river) pebbles.

pebbles

Glue of the Moment Classic type.

Stone polish (or a little primer) and small tweezers. Places for decors should be considered when marking tiles. The wall in the gaps remaining after laying the tiles, you need to align the tile glue or gypsum mortar and primed.

First, coarse pebbles are glued. The pebbles in shape are selected so that their contacting edges fit snugly against one another.

When working with Moment glue, you need to remember that a layer of glue is applied both to the wall and to the surface of the pebbles.

After the large pebbles are pasted, the gaps remaining between them are filled with pebbles of small and medium size. The use of small pebbles will be greatly facilitated by the use of small tweezers.

And now the decor is completely ready! Now the “final touch” is to coat the surface of the pebble with varnish for stone or (a more economical option) with a primer. Such a coating will close the pores on the pebbles, make their surface smooth and show color.

It looks quite interesting, but it seems to me that if you decorate the wall in rooms of high humidity (for example, in the bathroom), condensation will accumulate in the spaces between the pebbles and mold will settle very soon.
