Not only adults love all kinds of handbags, but little fashionistas are not far behind. Young children grasp everything on the fly and strive to be like adults. Currently, there are a variety of handbags on sale, but their prices are also different and sometimes not every family can afford it. However, there are also those who simply don’t like factory bags. Therefore, I propose to knit a children’s handbag with a beautiful knitted flower from yarn. In addition, every needlewoman probably has all the necessary materials.

We will need the following material:
  • Yarn pink
  • Lilac yarn
  • Beads
  • Knitting needles No. 3
  • Hook No. 4
  • Needle

We cast on 35 loops of lilac yarn onto the knitting needles. We knit 6 rows in garter stitch. Then we knit pink yarn and knit one row. Then we continue garter stitch again using lilac yarn and knit 3 rows.

Then we begin to knit with stockinette stitch, which needs to be knitted in 3 rows. From the third row the flower will be knitted. So, in the 4th row we knit 16 loops with lilac yarn, and 18,19,20,21,22 loops with pink yarn, until the end of the row we will always knit with lilac yarn. In the next row we knit the same loops with pink yarn, but we also knit 17 and 23 loops. Another row: pink loops 16-24 inclusive. Then we knit 12-14 loops with pink yarn, knit the 15th with lilac yarn, and 16-24 with pink yarn. Next row: 11-14 - pink yarn, 15 loop - lilac yarn, 16-23 loops - pink yarn. Another row: 10-14 - pink, 15th loop - lilac yarn, 16-22 - pink and 24-26 - lilac yarn. Next row: we knit 10-21 loops with pink yarn, 22 loops with lilac yarn and 23-27 with pink yarn. In the next row we knit stitches in pink 10-17, in lilac we knit 18-20, and in pink – 21-28. Next row: pink yarn - 10-16, lilac - 17-21 and pink - 22-28. Another row: pink – 11-16, lilac – 17-21, pink – 22-28. Next row: 12-16 - pink yarn, 17-21 - lilac yarn and 22-28 - pink. We knit the next row like this: we knit with lilac yarn, and 16 and 17 loops with pink yarn, then again with lilac, and 21-22 with pink yarn, two loops with lilac, and 25-27 with pink yarn. And the last row with a flower: we knit with lilac yarn, and from 14 to 24 loops we knit in pink, we knit one loop with lilac yarn and we knit the 26th loop in pink.

Then we continue knitting with lilac yarn and knit 2 rows with stockinette stitch. Then we knit 25 rows in garter stitch. Then you need to cut the loops at the beginning and end of the row. That is, at the beginning and at the end of each row we knit two loops together, 6 such rows need to be knitted.

We fold the handbag as it should be and sew up the sides. At the same time, do not forget that you need to sew from the wrong side, that is, first turn the handbag inside out.

When you finish sewing, turn the handbag right side out and bend its upper part, with which the handbag will close.

Cut threads about 15 cm long from pink yarn. Tie them to the bottom of the bag, making a fringe.

Using a crochet hook, we knit a handle for a handbag about 60 cm long from two colors of yarn. We sew the handle to the handbag and at the sewing site we also make a fringe from pink yarn.

Now all that remains is to sew on the beads so that the bag can be fastened.

The handbag is very roomy, so a little fashionista can put a mirror and even small toys in it.
