Folding postcard with love

Very soon we will be visited by a wonderful and romantic winter holiday, Valentine's Day. It fills a couple of lovers with tenderness, kindness, affection, romance and sincere love. Some people consider this holiday to be an ordinary day and do not particularly prepare for it or celebrate it, while others love it very much and look forward to its arrival, so accordingly they prepare for it in advance. What is the purpose of celebrating this day? It could be a romantic dinner by candlelight, either in a restaurant or in a warm home environment, it could also be a fun party with friends, or maybe some extraordinary trip. Whatever the event turns out to be, you need to prepare for it. First, you still need to figure out a gift for your loved one. It’s easier for the guy, give him flowers, jewelry, candy or a toy and he’s done. But for a girl, in order not to have to invent for a long time, you can make your beloved one a postcard of an interesting shape with your own hand. Write in it and express your feelings for him and believe me, it will be unforgettable.
Making such cards is a pleasure and the manufacturing process itself brings a lot of positive emotions, and the well-known to us helps us with this scrapbooking.

So, we need to take the following for the master class:
• Landscape sheet of marbled pink cardboard;
• Paper for scrapbooking in a pink palette of several different designs;
• Pictures with hearts, bears, bunnies and love bears;
• Printout with a rhyme;
• Watercolor paper;
• Stamp “With love”, “Bear with flowers”;
• Curb hole punch;
• Figured hole punch flower with a diameter of 1.5 cm;
• Red polymer roses;
• Pink flowers: roses, gardenias;
• Red and beige polka dot ribbons;
• Hot pink organza ribbon 1 cm wide;
• Cutting out a red heart;
• Cutting a white circle with an inscription;
• Wide ribbon of white rep with pink hearts;
• Center pink hollow flower and pink heart;
• Glue gun;
• Double-sided tape;
• Ruler, PVA glue, scissors and pencil.




We take marble cardboard and cut out the base from it.




On one side the height of the postcard will be 21 cm, and on the other 13 cm, we make an oblique cut. Now we make a paper lace frill with a hole punch. We divide the card into three parts in width, into three parts of 10 cm each, and fold the base like a snake.




Now we cut out the decorations for the card from scrap paper.




We cut out blanks of appropriate sizes, as in the photo. For each part we cut out two blanks. From the remains we cut out three strips diagonally and also make them openwork.




We glue these strips with PVA glue. Now we glue the pictures and inscriptions with double-sided tape.




We sew each glued element on a typewriter. Cut two red strips of ribbon and glue them to the back of the base with tape.




We glue all the parts prepared from scrap paper to the base and stitch each side of the card together in pairs. Now we will glue the decorations. We use a figured hole punch to cut out flowers. Paper decor glue with PVA glue. Using a glue gun we glue polymer clay roses, beads, buttons, bows and centers.




Fold the card and tie it with a bow. Done, it turned out great and interesting! Thank you.
