Diamond embroidery

The diamond embroidery technique has recently become popular. But anyone who tries to create such a picture will love this technique and want to create more and more masterpieces with their own hands. Making a picture is not difficult, and the effect is simply amazing. The whole picture will sparkle and shimmer with all sorts of colors. To begin with, in a store that sells everything for needlework, you need to choose the set you like. If you are working in this technique for the first time, then it is better to choose a simpler painting so that it is easier to do and you feel the whole process of creating a painting.



The set comes with a picture, it can be of different sizes, with partial adhesive or full. In my case, I used a picture with partial pasting. The set also contains all the necessary lenses, a stick for rhinestones, and a small amount of gun glue for dipping the stick into.



And also a special container for rhinestones.



The canvas on which the painting is depicted is durable and holds its shape perfectly. You need to glue the picture in order and go from the beginning to the very end. The entire painting is covered with a special film; it is necessary to ensure that the adhesive surface of the painting does not dry out and that dust and debris do not fall on it.The manufacturer poured a lot of pebbles into the bags. And, despite the fact that you come across a lot of defective and ugly stones, there are still enough of them for one picture and even remain. We take the container that came with the kit and pour the necessary rhinestones onto it in small slides in different places.



To make it easier to work with the picture. You will carefully review what shades of rhinestones you will need first and pour them onto a plate. Do not take extra colors, otherwise they can easily get confused, since the shades are very similar and it is very easy to confuse them. I started my painting with a stem.



First I took all the shades of green and used it, and only then started gluing the bud itself. The adhesive surface on the painting is very good. Once the rhinestone is glued, it holds well and does not fall off. You don’t need to remove all the film at once and start gluing rhinestones. It is better to lift it little by little and glue the lenses so that no dust gets on the picture. And you won’t be able to glue the whole picture in one day, but overnight without film the glue can dry out and then the rhinestone will not stick well.



My painting was not very large, about 30*30 cm in size, and I slowly hung it up in 3 days. Since the entire picture is painted on canvas, it does not need to be framed with glass. For such a painting, a hidden wooden frame is needed on which the painting will be stretched. When finished, the pasted rose looks simply great. It all sparkles and shimmers. And the diamond technique is very addictive and I want to make more such paintings.
