Do-it-yourself postcard "Barney's Bear" can well please a child who is five or six years old. Its cover is decorated with a wicker frame and a teddy bear, and the inner part tied up on the outside is decorated with curled paper patterns that are not found in postcards sold in the store.

Postcard Bear Barney

To make such a card, we need:
one). Fabric with inner fur (from a fur coat);
2). Scissors;
3). Threads corresponding to the color of the fabric or fur, needle;
four). Glue, beads;
5). A sheet of paper or cardboard and a pencil in order to depict a sample of the toy;
6). Colored paper, white sheet of cardboard;
7). Tweezers, gel pen.

The first thing we decided to do was make a teddy bear. Having depicted a sample on a piece of cardboard on both sides, we cut it out:

Now, jokes paper samples to the fabric taken for sewing, cut out:

The fabric we took for work has a lot of fur. If you carefully cut the fur, then it will be possible to replace the natural filler with it - cotton wool:

Sew together fabric samples:

Fill them with fur:

Now we make the seams passing in the neck area and between the body with the legs, front and back. On the head you need to do the seams that separate the ears from the head:

We cut out small parts of the muzzle from a paper sample, - nose and mouth, and cut them out of the fabric:

In the same way we cut out the eye tissue. Then we glue them together with the muzzle to the head of the toy, after which, when the glue dries, we sew the eyes to the toy:

Glue the tail:

Glue the navel in front and take up the manufacture of paws:

We draw a thread on top in order to make a loop. Having tied the thread, we put beads on it - of any color, but preferably white and small size:

That's it - our toy "Barney Bear" is ready. Now we take a blank cardboard sheet of paper and bend it in half:

In the inside of the card we tie the ends of the threads (such a knot is best suited):

Now we cut strips of paper to make a wicker frame. We chose paper of blue and blue-green colors:

Take a few stripes and bend them in half, and then fold the tips to the center and glue:

We introduce one strip into another and glue them:

Having made the upper part of the frame, we proceed to the manufacture of the sides:

One of the sides of the yellow stripes just needs to be glued on top to the previous ones:

When the wicker frame is completely ready, glue it to the card:

Now make a gel pen inscription:

We cut out the inscription by measuring a straight line for the cut (we just attached a ruler to the previously made marks and bent the sheet):

We turn the sides into tubes and glue:

We attach our inscription to the card:

On the back side of the card, if desired, you can make a bow from one strip of colored paper:

In the inside of the postcard, we first make simple frames:

Gradually fill the upper sides of the card with patterned figures made of curled colored paper suitable for quilling:

Next, take a clean rectangular long sheet of paper and make a second package:

We roll up its upper and lower sides as shown in the photo:

We draw five lines on it carefully - we will have to write a congratulatory poem on them:

Complementing the children's card with patterned figures, we compose the second of the same package, on which we write the wishes of the child:

On both sides of the card we pass thick floss threads so that it can be kept closed; thanks to this, the postcard will have a festive look:

So that the inscription “Congratulations!” Could be better seen on the main page, we decided to replace the beads in the loop of the teddy bear, choosing the most suitable one in color and size. Tie a postcard:

Our postcard is ready! Without a doubt, she will be able to please the child and, if he does not yet know how to read, then he will be able to read the poem to her mother or grandmother.
