We sew coasters for hot for Valentine's Day

Then prepare a dense cotton fabric, for example, a two-thread, red cotton flaps with different patterns (in a flower, a cage, a strip, polka dots, etc.), wooden buttons in the form of hearts with different prints, and also a cotton ribbon with the inscription “Hand made ”, Synthetic winterizer, threads, scissors and start sewing themed hot coasters.



Before starting work, it is recommended to wash, dry and iron the two-thread. Cut from this fabric two squares with a side of 15 cm.



From red cotton, in this case, into a flower, cut out the heart and lay it on one of the parts of the base of the two-thread. To make the application smooth, you can sprinkle the fabric from the inside with glue-spray for the fabric and gently press it with a warm iron.



If there is no spray, the application can be glued to the tailor's adhesive net - the "spider line". Set the line “zig-zag” on the sewing machine, set the stitch height to 4 mm and the width to 2 mm. Lay a seam around the perimeter of the heart.



Bring the threads to the wrong side, fasten with a knot and, using a needle, wrap under the applique. Sew the tape labeled “Hand made” to the second part of the stand.



From a synthetic winterizer, cut a square with a side of 15 cm. Pass the synthetic winterizer through a damp cloth to remove looseness. If there is no syntepon, you can use a dense adhesive cloth or bortovka. Fold the details from the two-thread appliques to each other. Lay the synthetic winterizer on top and chop the structure with tailor pins or lay a basting seam.



Along the perimeter of the stand, lay a straight stitch 3-4 mm wide, leaving a hole for turning out on one side.



On the edge of the stand, cut off the extra padding pad and cut off the corners.




Turn out and iron the stand. Bend the edges of the eversion hole inward.



To fix the details, lay a decorative cardiogram seam around the entire perimeter of the stand.



Decorate one of the corners of the stand with a wooden button in the shape of a heart.



Make 3 more such coasters, but with applications from other fabrics.



Sew on them loops for hanging.
