An unusual little thing that can decorate the interior of any room is a hand-painted marine hewn stone. Depending on the chosen pattern, it will become an adornment of a certain room. For example, motifs with exotic fish look great in the bathroom, and cute cupcakes and sweets are appropriate for the kitchen.

In order to make such a craft you will need:
- paints (gouache, watercolor, acrylic);
- a set of brushes for painting;
- a simple pencil;
- colorless varnish
- medium sized pebbles.

1. In order to make the paint look brighter, we initially cover the stone with white gouache using a thick flat brush.

2. After the white layer has dried, we sketch with a simple pencil a sketch of the future image.

3. Carefully paint the stone with paints. To do this, you can use either special acrylic or regular honey watercolor or gouache (you must be careful, as they are smeared when water drops get in).

4. Let the drawing dry. The drying process can take from 10 minutes to 24 hours. It depends on the type of paint chosen, its thickness, ambient temperature and humidity.
5. Spray the resulting image with a thin uniform layer of varnish. It is more convenient to use aerosol for these purposes, but varnish with a brush is also suitable. Perhaps a little later it will be necessary to sprinkle the product again (carefully read the instructions for the use of varnish and proceed as described there).
