I once read an article about contactless eating LEDs on the cooler blades and decided to make myself the same miracle of nature. In addition, the cooler turns out to be not just glowing, but with an advanced strobe effect. I recommend. So, first we buy a large cooler 120*120, preferably black. We remove the impeller: to do this, you need to remove the lock washer placed on the axle. Save the washer - it will need to be returned to its place later.

Then we wind 50 turns of 0.8 mm thick wire around the cooler and fix its ends. These pins will receive power.

Next, we wind 50 turns of 0.2 mm thick wire around the impeller and coat it with super glue.

Now you can take on a very important procedure - placement LEDs on the blades. It's better to take SMDLEDs, but regular super-bright ones will also work. Distribute 7 pieces among blades LEDs, maintaining the balance of the impeller, and connect them in series. We solder the ends to the winding on the blades.

After this, we make a breaker to power this system. The diagram is attached.Parts are easy to find in stores.

We connect the leads to the power supply and enjoy the stroboscopic effect, which can be changed with a variable resistor.

Please explain why a circuit breaker is needed. What happens if you don't use it?

Physics 8th grade. Oscillations in the winding will occur only if the el. the field will constantly change.Without it nothing will work and don’t try to plug everything into the socket, and the frequency is not the same.

Assembled the current breaker, the diode does not blink, but just lights up. I twisted the cuts to 0 effect.

Is it possible to power the breaker from 12 V? Just connect it parallel to the cooler's power supply and that's it.

It’s possible, the timer’s power supply is up to 18 V, the transistor should also withstand it, depending on the letter index, most likely it will just heat up more.

It won't blink. The photo is most likely an optical illusion due to the camera's rapid rotation and camera lag.

It was powered by a 9V power supply and got terribly hot.

I had a small idea, what if instead of windings on the cooler we use “cunningly” installed permanent magnets... so the cooler will spin from the motherboard, and a current will arise in the coils wound on the blades. Only if the permanent magnets do not interfere with the system...

,Remember the laws of electrical engineering. The current in the conductor will be induced only when the magnetic lines intersect; in this design, the conductors will in no way be able to cross the magnetic field, because here the wire is located not across the movement, but along it. Unless you wind the winding in a zigzag or turn each lionfish blade into a coil.

Where is the variable resistor in the diagram?
