To work, prepare the following components:
- a piece of thick cardboard (about 40 cm by 30 cm in size);
- scissors or clerical knife;
- double sided tape;
- PVA glue;
- corrugated red paper (or garnet paper napkins);
- sweets in a red wrapper;
- beautiful ribbons of scarlet color (1 m).
Since the main color of passion and love is considered red, the composition will be performed in this color scheme. Therefore, try to select all the components for the job exactly as indicated in the list. First you need to draw a big heart on a piece of white paper, about 25x20 cm in size. If you don’t know how to draw, then find the right image on the Internet, print it on a printer, cut it out and the stencil is ready.
According to this stencil, two blanks of the same size should be cut from thick cardboard.
Using corrugated paper or trichard paper napkins, you need to create color and texture for paper blanks. Hearts can be painted with watercolors and pasted over with colored paper, but this is trivial. It is more interesting to create a volumetric background. So, take PVA glue and spread it on top of the cardboard blank. Remember the napkin with your hands and press it to the surface. So it will stick in some places, and in some places a hill will be created. Thus, you can get a beautiful heterogeneous texture. It’s okay if the edges of the workpiece are not filled, they will then be hidden in the next step.
Further along the edge of the whole heart, double-sided tape should be glued. It is better to do this in parts, so that it evenly covers the entire surface.
As soon as you remove the protective coating from the tape, start sticking the sweets. You need to do this over the edge of the wrapper and as densely as possible to each other. It is best to choose sweets in such packaging as in the photo. They are the largest fit and look beautiful. The longer the candy will be, the higher and more voluminous the crafts will turn out. Although, you still need to consider the taste of your soulmate.
Now take the second blank and glue it along the entire perimeter of the edge with double-sided tape in the same way.
Holding hands, the second heart should be placed on a weight parallel to the first and glue the opposite end of the wrapper of each candy.
