Tea and chocolate can also be a great New Year gift. The main thing is to know how to present them.
What will be needed to create a gift?
- Tea (tea with tags was used here, a small package of 25 bags. Accordingly, the size of the gift box is selected for it).
- Chocolate bar.
- Colored paper.
- Album sheet of white paper.
- Whatman.
- Gouache.
- White threads (50g / 150m).
- Hook number 2.
- Red satin ribbon.
- Stationery knife.
- Red felt-tip pen (you can do without it).
- Eraser (it should be new, and not already used ever since we will make a stamp from it).
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Lighter (burn the ends of the tapes).
- Paint brush.
- Black pen (best if it is gel).
Let's start with the “pattern” of the box in which we place tea and chocolate.
We draw a drawing paper, cut it out, draw a clerical knife along the fold lines (it will be much easier and more even to bend the drawing paper). You can prepare several patterns at once and simultaneously make more than one box.
Now we cut out a rectangle from a sheet of colored paper, 5 mm smaller in height and width than the top cover of the box.
For now, put the workpiece aside and take up the manufacture of the stamp. To do this, we only need an eraser, a stationery knife and a pencil. On the eraser, draw any attribute of the New Year and with the help of a knife, carefully remove the excess.
The stamp itself is ready. It remains only to apply it to decorate the box. We take gouache of the same color as the paper on the box lid, apply it in a thin layer on unnecessary paper, “dip” the stamp and decorate our box. The drawing from the stamp can be circled with a red marker, as if shifting the contour by a couple of millimeters, but can be left unchanged.
When the paint dries, you can glue the box.
Now we’ll do something that does not allow tea and chocolate to be considered such a banal and uninteresting gift - a comic instruction for use.
If you want to make a small gift present larger dimensions, in addition to what you make for this MK, you can also add a blanket. From such a presentation, certainly no one will remain indifferent. For the next step, you will need basic crochet skills. According to any pattern found on the Internet or magazines for knitting and which is more understandable and attractive to you, tie a snowflake with white threads.
If you have never held a hook in your hands, then this is the best time to learn how to use it. It will not take much time, but it will bring a pleasant and impressive result. Now the final step. We put in a box a bar of chocolate and a package of tea. We twist (or fold) the “instruction” and tie it with a ribbon.
Then we decorate the box itself with a knitted snowflake and also bandage it with ribbon.
