For the new year, it is customary to decorate a Christmas tree, a house and even outfits with snowflakes. An endless amount of snow patterns is created by nature, but each person is subject to create their own snowflakes that will decorate the crown, dress or serve as a decorative decoration for the home.

How to make a snowflake

The most convenient material for creating a delicate snowflake is, of course, ribbons. Therefore, you will need a white, blue and brocade ribbon. The width of the blue ribbon is 5 cm, and the length for 8 petals is 40 cm. The brocade is suitable for a width of 4 cm, its length is 32 cm. But a white ribbon with a width of 4 cm will go quite a lot - 96 cm and plus 4 cm for the base, so get it exactly 1 meter. Still need glue and a candle. For the middle, either a small star or a small snowflake is suitable.
We begin the creative process. Initially, you need to cut the tape into squares. We need 8 blue squares, their size corresponds to the width of the tape and will be five by five. You also need 8 pieces of brocade. The white ribbon goes to the branch of the snowflakes, each of which has 6 elements, so you need 24 white squares in size four by four.
Now we form double petals, from them we will create a central flower. Fold the square in half, but diagonally.

From the brocade square, by the same bends, we also make a triangle in 4 layers. Then you need to impose one detail of the petal on another. Care must be taken to ensure that the corners are looking up along one line.

Using the candle flame, we burn the edge of the petal so that all 8 layers are soldered together. If you do not connect all the layers, the petal will sprinkle.
