You will need: 6 strands of 1.2m each, 22 medium raspberry-colored wooden beads, 4 medium blue glass beads, 1 large pink bead. To begin with, we will twist the head of the turtle. Take 2 threads of 1.2m with a diameter of 1.5mm:

we will make the head of the turtle

Then weave a square knot consisting of a right flat knot:

we will make the head of the turtle

and left flat knot:

we will make the head of the turtle

Thus weave 2 knots and put on the bead eyes (Turkish eye from the evil eye):

we will make the head of the turtle

Now weave three square knots:

we will make the head of the turtle

Then we thread the ends of the threads to the beginning of the square knot from two sides:

Here is the head came out:

It's time to go to the paws. We take 2 threads of 1.2 m each with a diameter of 1.5 mm and put on each a wooden bead, then we twist the ends of the threads:

turtle

In the same way as the head, we form a paw of two square knots:

At the end of the paw we put on a cylindrical glass bead to match the eyes:

We will tie diagonal knots: rep knots around two central threads:

One side

And exactly the same with the other

That's what happened

We string the wooden beads through one thread and make a diagonal knot on the right side:

turtle

And on the left:

turtle

Then we form the second row on the left side:

turtle

and right side:

turtle

Now we string the bead on two middle threads:

turtle

Now, around the third thread from the center, we will form diagonal knots and close the bead:

turtle

And then the fourth thread will form the diagonal nodes on the left:

turtle

Similarly, on the left. That's what happened

turtle

The turtle has found a tortoise shell pattern:

turtle

We string the wooden beads through one and form the diagonal knot with the extreme thread on the right and left:

turtle

We will begin to manufacture the tail. To do this, select four threads in the center and form the diagonal nodes with the outer threads:

turtle

The hind legs are woven in the same pattern as the front legs: we string the glass beads:
Then weave a square knot and string on the extreme threads on a wooden bead

turtle

We tie the ends, cut with scissors and fuse with a lighter.

turtle

The turtle is ready!

What a miracle! And the photos of the process are so detailed, it’s immediately clear what and where is going. Great, I’ll definitely try to make one.
