Everyone knows very well and for sure everyone is already looking forward to the coming of 2015 - the year of the Lamb. This animal brings a lot of joy, good mood, and therefore it is necessary to meet it on New Year's Eve as it should. Festive family atmosphere, a beautiful Christmas tree, a luxurious festive table, and of course, many, many different gifts. You can give absolutely everything on New Year's Eve, even any trifle little thing, but it will seem like a pretty valuable gift on this holiday. Well, basically they give it for the New Year so that it is both pleasant and unprofitable: magnets, figurines, piggy banks, Stuffed Toys, Christmas balls with the image of the animal that comes in the coming year. Since next year a sheep will visit us gifts- small things should be in the form of a sheep. For example, you can make a small figurine of polymer clay, it is also called plastic. It will be interesting for you and at the same time it will be nice to receive a special handmade gift in the New Year.

If you ever sculpted a little from plasticine, then learn how to sculpt from polymer clay with ease. The difference in molding is that the clay is not as viscous as clay, it is very hard and requires effort to knead, and as a result, after molding, the product must either be baked or welded so that the plastic hardens and the product keeps its shape. We will try.

Take for sculpting lamb:
Four-color plastic: black, soft pink, flesh-beige and white, we take warmer shades, sticks 8-9 cm long and 10 mm in diameter;
Board for plasticine;
Knife and stick for working with plastic;
Capacity for cooking (an old pan that is not used for food purposes);
Decoupage varnish and brush in order to give brightness to the product.

Let us first proceed to the body of the lamb. Cut off about 2 cm of body clay and begin to knead until completely softened. Crushed and sculpted an oval for the torso, flattened it a little. Cut about another 1 cm from the body sausage and knead and roll a circle for the head.

From two pieces we make the ears, attach to the head and round to the top. We make a bow of pink clay and fasten it on the head.

From white clay we roll two small circles of 5 mm in diameter and two circles of black 2 mm each. We press the black circles to the white, we get the eyes, which we attach to the head. Another small pink bow is mounted under the head on the body. We draw a smile on the face with a knife.

Now we roll balls of 4-5 mm from white clay, fasten to the body. It will be a sheepskin coat. The modeling is over. We boil water in a prepared pan, throw the sheep into boiling water and cook for 12-15 minutes. We take out, cool and varnish to give color.

Dry and the gift sheep is ready! If you want to make a key ring, then before cooking it make a metal loop, insert it into the sheep and cook with the loop, and only then you can put the blank under the key chain.
