To create a cozy birdhouse you will need:
• plastic bottle with a volume of 5 liters;
• linen or jute twine - 1 skein;
• scissors;
• double sided tape;
• cosmofen glue;
• a piece of woolen cloth;
• two large shiny buttons;
• braid – 0.20 meters;
• any wild cereal;
• felt-tip pen;
• threads;
• round needle;
• strong lace.
A strip of double-sided tape is glued onto a large plastic bottle with a lid and, having secured the beginning of the twine to the tape, begin wrapping the container from the bottom.
Each row of winding is pressed tightly against the previous one. The first and last turns are secured with glue. At the end of the work, a square is drawn on the twine canvas. Special glue is applied along the drawn path, then a hole is cut out.
An old woolen hat or sleeve from an unwanted sweater is suitable for making a roof. A piece of woolen fabric is measured and cut and placed on the top of the workpiece. The edges of the fabric are gathered with a thread and a needle and fastened to the handle of the lid. We sew any prepared grass in bunches to a woolen base. When the grass is completely attached, the top is secured with a cord pulled through the plastic handle of the bottle.
Next we decorate the entrance hole of the birdhouse.Strips of double-sided tape are glued to its sides, and tape is applied to the sticky side on each side.
Large shiny buttons are glued to the lower edges of the entrance. To attract birds, a handful of wheat is poured inside, and the feeder is hung on the roof in a place inaccessible to cats.
