To create a cozy birdhouse you will need:
• plastic bottle of 5 liters;
• linen or jute twine - 1 skein;
• scissors;
• double sided tape;
• glue "cosmofen";
• a piece of woolen cloth;
• two large shiny buttons;
• braid - 0.20 meters;
• any wild grass;
• felt-tip pen;
• threads;
• round needle;
• strong lace.
A strip of double-sided tape is glued onto a large plastic bottle with a lid and, having fixed the beginning of the twine on the tape, the winding of the container begins from the bottom.
Each row of windings tightly pressed to the previous one. The first and last turns are fixed with glue. At the end of the work, a square is drawn on the twine canvas. A special glue is applied along the drawn path, then a hole is cut out.
To make a roof, an old woolen hat or sleeve from an unnecessary sweater is suitable. A piece of woolen cloth is measured and cut and put on the top of the workpiece. The edges of the canvas are collected with a thread with a needle and fastened to the handle of the lid. Sew any prepared grass in bunches to a woolen base. When the grass is fully attached, the top is secured with a cord drawn through the plastic handle of the bottle.
Next, decorate the inlet of the birdhouse. Stripes of double-sided tape are glued on its sides, and a braid is applied on the sticky side on each side.
Large shiny buttons are glued along the lower edges of the entrance. To attract birds, a handful of wheat is poured inside, and the feeder is suspended on the roof in a place inaccessible to cats.
