Jewelry kanzashi came to us from ancient China. About two hundred years ago, Chinese fashionistas used them widely for traditional hair and clothing decoration. It was then that for the first time, the straight hairs of women and girls began to be laid in intricate and bizarre hairstyles, decorating them with kanzashi flowers. Today, this style of jewelry is widely used far beyond the borders of China. This type of jewelry reached our region. Kanzashi flowers are used not only to decorate hairstyles, but also to add zest to shoes, clothes, handbags, jewelry and other accessories.
Very beautiful and original jewelry became real friends of modern fashionistas. In addition, each flower in this style is original and unique, as it is made by hand.

Materials for the manufacture.
In this master class, we will show how to make a beautiful hair clip with a beautiful three-color flower. To make such a single flower, we need three pieces of about 30 centimeters of ribbons of red, black and white. Red and black ribbons are wide, 5 centimeters each. And white is one and a half centimeter wide. We also need a gun with an glue stick, scissors, an ordinary lighter, a small hair clip on which we will attach our flower and bead, or, in our case, a red plastic flower.



Making a flower.
First, we need to cut six straight square pieces from each tape. Each of them needs to be burned a little at the cut points so that the pieces do not fray.




Next - bend the red square diagonally in half to make a triangle.



The resulting triangle is bent again in half, getting a triangle half as small. We do the same with black and white squares. Next, we connect the three resulting triangles with the lower corners, and alternately connect the opposite corners to them.



With a lighter, we light up the folded corners and press them together, connecting the molten ends together.



The petal is ready, but not final. The back of the resulting petal is cut lengthwise, reducing its height, and again we burn the trimmed area a bit, avoiding further scuffing. That's all. The first petal is ready.



With the other squares, we do the same, and we get six petals to connect them into a flower, cut a small circle from another square of the ribbon, burn it in a circle, and with a hot gun glue the petals to the circle in turn.




It is worth noting that the glue needs to be applied not only to the lower part of the petal, but also to the side, which will be adjacent to the adjacent petal. So they will be denser and stronger fit to each other.



After the glue cools down a bit, pour a little more glue into the middle of the flower and glue the middle.




And after complete drying, we sit on a hot glue barrette.
