To work you will need:
- dense structure fabric of red or crimson color,
- fabric of dense structure, light green or dark green,
- a small piece of cellophane with a dense structure,
- dark marker
- fabric scissors,
- 2 pieces of large buttons on the leg,
- a small piece of black fabric with a dense structure,
- a set of colored threads (raspberry, green, black),
- sewing machine.
Pattern of product parts:
a) part No. 1-2 pcs. "F 1" made of crimson fabric
b) part No. 1-1 piece. "F 2" from cellophane
c) part No. 2-1 piece. "F 1"
d) a piece of black fabric with a dense texture
First stage:
From a piece of raspberry-colored fabric with a dense texture, cut out two parts No. 1.
From a piece of light green fabric, cut out one piece No. 2.
From a piece of cellophane with a dense structure, cut out one part No. 1.
Second phase:
We steam and iron the fabric parts well.
Third stage:
We place part No. 1 made of fabric and part No. 1 made of cellophane on top of each other and pin them together with needles. You can baste by hand if you prefer.
We sew them together on a typewriter.
Fourth stage:
Carefully fold part No. 1 and part No. 1 with cellophane with right sides facing each other. Stitch. Press and overcast seam allowances. We turn the resulting part from the wrong side to the front side.
Iron and steam. We sew cleanly to the edge at a distance of 5 mm from the cut using a machine. Using a machine, select a straight stitch seam
Fifth stage:
We apply part No. 2 to the finished structure.
Using a machine, select a zigzag stitch for the appliqués and sew them down with a decorative stitch. Select the smallest length of the zigzag stitch steps. All modern machines must have this function.
Sixth stage:
For the ties we use ready-made bias tape. If you don’t have binding, you can make it yourself. We simply fold the strip of fabric several times and sew it with a straight stitch on the machine.
Sew on the ties and decorated buttons on the long leg. The color of the selected buttons can be any. But the main condition is that it should be contrasting with the colors of the product. This is the indescribable beauty I got in two hours of free time.
Seventh stage:
The finishing touch is to attach a mouth. Carefully apply the applique with a mouth made from a black patch onto the finished product. The entire product is ready. This is how beautiful it turned out.
Eighth stage:
Steam well and iron the finished product. Wear it with love!!!
