Next, bring this sheet to the shape of a square, it will look something like this.
Scrupulousness, shown to the exact millimeter, is useless here, a small error of one to five millimeters is permissible, that is, you can do this entire procedure without a ruler. In addition to paper, scissors and your hands, nothing more is required here. Although, especially skillful hands, they can handle without scissors! Now fold the two opposite vertices of the square so that you get such a triangle-corner.
The fold should be clearly fixed - be straight and even. Let's start from the right corner - we bend it to the left side of the triangle as shown in the figure. We iron the bend properly, we can imagine that our hand is an iron. That is, all folds should be ironed clearly, like arrows on trousers.
We repeat the same thing in mirror image - respectively, we bend the left corner to the right side of our workpiece.
There is very little left. We bend the part of the upper corner of the product closest to us down and, on the back of the workpiece, repeat this technique. We also bend this part.
Here we will put our lips while drinking. That's all practically done, it remains only to expand (give volume) a flattened glass. And the “cup” is in our hands!
