In order for the child to be warm when running around at home and on the street, we put him in light, warm, fur slippers.
You can make them yourself. For this we will need: natural or faux fur, coat fabric, felt, thread (number 40), thick nylon thread, awl, chalk, scissors and a sharp knife.

Patterns are made from any used shoes you like and are suitable for the child’s size. We will use this product as a template. It is advisable to choose a model that has fewer parts and seams.
One boot or slipper must be carefully disassembled. Separate the sole from the sneaker, and carefully disassemble it into parts. Attach each component tightly to whatman paper and outline with a pencil. Cut out what you have. On each cut out part, mark, for example, the number 1. This side of the patterns will be intended for the sneaker that you disassembled (right or left). The reverse, clean side of the pattern for a pair of slippers.
Carefully lay out the prepared patterns on the fur of your choice and trace them with chalk or pencil. Cut them out. If you choose natural fur, then it is easier to cut the cut with a sharp knife, and if the fur is artificial, then with scissors.

Carry out similar work with patterns made from coat fabric. Lay out the coat fabric. Place the patterns on it and, holding them with one hand, trace them and cut them out.
You now have a finished cut for one sneaker (photo 5). Do the same work for a pair of slippers.
Sewing fur on a sewing machine or by hand is done by applying one part to another (overlapping) so that the seam in the finished product is not thick and does not interfere.

When sewing the top of a slipper, join the parts using a butterfly seam.
After the fur and the top of the product are sewn, you need to insert the sewn fur piece into the sewn top and sew them together.

Let's make a faucet. It is needed to connect the sneaker with the sole. Without a fender, when sewing the sole with an awl, the coat fabric will tear.
Leather is best suited for making krant. You need to cut strips of leather 3 centimeters wide and a length equal to the circumference of the sewn slipper, plus 2 centimeters for overlap. Having prepared the fender, sew it to the base of the sneaker along the entire circumference.

The next stage of our work will be sewing the soles to the sneaker. Felt or felt boots are suitable for the sole. Felt or felt insoles of large sizes can be purchased in the store for 15-20 rubles per pair. You can cut a pair of soles from the boot of a felt boot. Make a pattern for the sole using the cut-off sole - trace it on the felt, insole, or on the boot of a felt boot. Cut out the sole with a sharp knife! In this case it will be smooth.

Now let's sew the sole to the sneaker. Before sewing, mark the middle of the heel of the sole by eye, since sewing must be done from heel to toe. Place the heel of the sole against the heel of the sneaker so that the seam on the back of the sneaker matches your mark on the sole.Make a puncture in the spigot and sole and start stitching with an awl. Sew one side of the sneaker from heel to toe. Make a knot and sew the slipper along the hem on the other side of the slipper.
The slipper is sewn. The final stage of our work will be bringing our product into “saleable condition”. Brush the fur on the top of the sneaker with a wire brush. Bend the boot to the height you like. The work is now complete.
