In general, we need only 2 details: a microphone capsule and a wire from old headphones - under the computer connector.
There are microphone capsules in cell phones, MP3 players, cassette recorders, and many more. I took from a cell phone.
Here he is - very small.


I soldered a wire to it: general - to general, medium to medium. I stuffed it into the stub of a plastic kazurka from the old plug. Clothespin from the headset of the same phone.

Sensitivity is simply unbelievable - Chinese computer microphones did not stand nearby! (although the capsules are also Chinese)

Microphone design can be anything. But the wire is best used shielded!
