What do we need?... A dozen candles for cakes or small ones, a package of thin polyethylene (they sell them for coverings), three slats, a machine for gluing polyethylene (or just an iron), tape, and hands.

We unfold the film, make a square, folded in half, approximately 2 by 2 meters in size. The total length of the film is 4 meters, width 2 meters.

We glue the edges of the film with a machine or an iron (through paper).

The result is a bag

We proceed to the installation of the propulsion system. These will be ordinary candles. We lay them out on the longest rack and melt them with the apparatus so that they do not crumble. And we melt them to the rail.

Now let's start assembling the aircraft! First, let's assemble the supporting structure. We place the long rack on the table, with the candles facing up. We attach short slats to the sides. How? Yes, even with glue or tape.

We attach the ball to the supporting structure. We secure the edges with glue or tape.

All! Ready to launch! We go out to the starting platform and begin the countdown! We lift the edge of the ball and light the “engine” - the candles. Be careful not to let the flame touch the film, otherwise the ball will burn.

The ball is ready to launch! Now we let him go and follow the news - another UFO flight.

Typically, such balloons fly very high and are carried away by the air flow for several kilometers. Good luck to all balloonists!

For Halloween, you can paint a face on the ball with black paint. When launched at night, such a ghost aircraft will look very impressive.

I did this, but instead of candles I soaked a piece of paper with kerosene, but this is only in a situation without a way out (when stores are closed) since excess kerosene drips into burning drops, be careful when experimenting.
