Cosmetic bag "Apple Blossom"

Almost all women get a lot of makeup. In the arsenal of every woman there are shadows, lipsticks, lip glosses, blush, mascara, cosmetic pencils, powder. All these cosmetics are usually stored in a special cosmetic bag, which can be purchased at the store, or can be made independently. I propose to sew a large and convenient cosmetic bag - one that will fit all, or almost all, of your cosmetics. In addition, it can be decorated with applique with blooming apple twigs.



Making a cosmetic bag will not take much time, and the materials for sewing it will most likely be found in every home.
For work you will need: a brown fleece, a yellow lining fabric, two buttons, threads of yellow, brown, green and pink colors, scissors, a needle, pink and green felt, yellow beads.



Working process
1. Cut a rectangle of size 25 by 35 cm from brown fleece. Cut a rectangle of the same size from yellow fabric.



2. Fold the rectangles with the front sides, straighten and stitch around the perimeter, backing off about one centimeter from each edge. On the side, leave a small hole for turning out. Sewing is best done on a sewing machine. This will be the basis for your cosmetic bag. Unscrew the main part and carefully sew the unstitched hole with a blind seam. Spread the part well and manually sew along the perimeter with a basting seam.



3. Now you need to sew one edge (narrower) on the sewing machine, stepping back about one centimeter from the edge.



4. On the opposite side, also sew on the sewing machine that part of the part that will be the valve that closes the makeup bag.



5. Collapse the part of the cosmetic bag with the lining inward and sew the outer side seams.



6. Carefully pull out the basting threads.



7. Firmly sew on two buttons.



8. Fasten the makeup bag to check if they are sewn symmetrically and if there is any skew.



9. Now you need to decorate the makeup bag. This can be done with the application. For example, perform the application of a blooming apple twig.
First you need to cut five leaves from green felt. Sew three leaflets on the valve on the right side of the cosmetic bag, and two on the left side of the cosmetic bag. It is better to sew leaflets with a lower seam only along the central vein - so they will look more natural and voluminous. You can sew on manually.
Three small flowers, each with five petals, are cut from pink felt. Place the flowers next to the leaves and sew. On the right - two flowers, and on the left - one. Sew flowers only in the center and along the middle of the petals. So the flowers will turn out voluminous. In the center of each flower, yellow beads are firmly sewn on - these will be stamens.



Soft and comfortable cosmetic bag is ready. It remains to put lipstick, eye shadow and blush in it, mascara and powder, and even cosmetic pencils will fit.
