Since rhinestones are of different sizes, do not chase tiny ones from the very beginning - a picture made by small pebbles, of course, looks richer and more refined, but you need to understand the principles and evaluate your perseverance with larger materials. For our work, we need two types of crystals.
Next, we collect all the necessary equipment. A pencil or felt-tip pen, which can then be washed off; scissors, tweezers and a heat source. Many craftswomen use a regular lighter, but it seems to me simpler and more reliable to use a candle - it can be firmly fixed in a candlestick and both hands will be free. With tweezers, you also need to choose one that fits comfortably in your hand. I was lucky in grandfather's instruments to find one with curved ends, but this is not important.
Now the most important thing is the choice of surface for decoration and drawing. If your artistic abilities are not enough, find any picture on the Internet, print it out - and there you have it. Actually, I did so. For a long time the black planter had to be somehow brightened up, which is why it became an experimental one.
Rinsing the pots to degrease the surface, spread the rhinestones on the drawing on the paper. This should not be too lazy to do - so you will evaluate the future result, understand how many strasses may be needed, and decide on the direction of work.
We cut out the pattern, and with glue we fix it on the surface of the planter. If the picture is complex, you have to translate the picture through tracing paper.
If the surface that you are going to decorate is transparent, then you can do without translating the picture. To do this, stick the circuit on the inside of your vase or glass. And the picture is visible, and then nothing will have to be washed off. Like this.
So, with a soft pencil we outline the picture. I used a white cosmetic pencil, because others were not visible on the black surface.
Now the most laborious part of the work begins: picking up the rhinestone with tweezers, heat it above the candle. For large crystals, it takes 5 seconds, for small ones - 2-3.
Heated rhinestone set in the right place, according to the scheme. Everything needs to be done quickly and accurately, as glue instantly sets.
If soot appears on the rhinestones during heating, do not worry - everything will be easily erased with a damp cloth.
When all the big rhinestones are glued, you get such a flower.
Now with rhinestones of smaller diameter we make the middle in each petal.
Having removed the soot, we put the plant in the pots and enjoy our work.
