To make a piggy bank, you will need: fleece of brown, yellow and black colors, an empty plastic bottle for shampoo or balm, synthetic winterizer, scissors, a sharp stationery knife, threads of yellow, brown and black colors, a needle, two black beads, double-sided tape.
Operating procedure.
1. First you need to prepare the bottle. To do this, it should be thoroughly washed from shampoo, then gently cut the bottom with a sharp clerical knife and dry well. You can use a hairdryer for drying. If the bottle is not dried, then the coins and bills that you will throw in the piggy bank may turn green.
2. From the brown fleece you need to cut an oval of such a size that it is about 1.5 centimeters wider and longer than the bottom of the bottle.
3. Glue the edge of the bottle with a strip of double-sided tape.
4. Remove the protective strip from the adhesive tape and glue the oval from the fleece.
5. Cut a rectangle from the brown fleece, the height of which is equal to the height of the bottle, and the width is the girth of the bottle plus 3 centimeters.
6. Wrap the bottle with a layer of padding polyester.
7. Wrap a brown fleece rectangle on top and sew the edges with a blind seam so that the bottle is covered with fabric. Sew the bottom of the fleece to the fabric, covering the sides of the bottle.
8. Cut an oval from brown fleece and sew on.
9. At the bottom, cut a hole for coins and bills. Sheathe the hole with a buttonhole stitch.
10. From the yellow fleece, cut an oval face, fore and hind legs. Sew all parts with a buttonhole to the front of the piggy bank.
11. From the brown and yellow fleece cut two pieces of ears.
12. Sew the yellow and brown details of the ears with a buttonhole stitch and sew on the top of the piggy bank.
13. From the black fleece, cut a small oval nose and sew to the muzzle with a buttonhole stitch.
14. Make eyes. To do this, sew two black beads to the face.
